Born and raised a native of South Dakota, John graduated from High School and College in Aberdeen, SD. John entered the Auto Industry in Central SD in the spring of 1981 working as a Sales Consultant and then as a Sales Manager. John subsequently worked as a General Manager for 12 years at a General Motors Dealership. John purchased the Pontiac-GMC Business in Yankton, SD in May of 1997.
